Introduction

I have been a Seventh Day Adventist for several years. I am divorced due to my beliefs in Christ. I was married before accepting Jesus and became baptized in the church. It was a hard experience and I believe in my church, however, Jesus Christ is first. A real relationship with Jesus is what salvation is about.
I'm looking for a genuine honest man who is a kind. I'm hopeful.
A note for the awesome men on this site, at times I see men in my age range looking for women that are 10 to 15 years younger. I'm obviously not 35, but mature and in good shape. Beauty fades with all of us, but what is on the inside is what you end up living with. I'm not a game player, and real. Hope to find someone who feels the same, no games and drama here. I love to laugh and view the glass as half-full. I don't look at everything thru rose-colored glasses and I'm definitely a realist, but life is too short to dwell on negatives. What I'd like to do on a first date...
Casual. Meet for lunch, get to know each other.
My past relationships have taught me...
Rest in God's timing. Keep Jesus in the center of the relationship. I'm looking for someone who will compliment me, not "complete" me, and a relationship that will bring me closer to God just by being in it :). Communication and respect are the glue that holds relationships together. If you are good friends and have a spiritual foundation, then everything else will be amazing! Maybe I'm a romantic, but I believe this to be true (smile).
To me, being an Adventist means...
Having the faith of Jesus, obedience to His word. Believing HIs second coming is all that really matters. Waiting for that glorious day of deliverance!

I love working with young people and the mission field both foreign and domestic. I've done medical mission work in South America, and love working in service for our Savior I respect and admire people (men and women) who are honest. Behavior consistent with words. I try to hold the same rules for myself that I do for others. Most important, be able to laugh at yourself at times. Love laughter, be able to see the funny sides of life
