What I'd like to do on a first date...

Meet in an atmosphere of quiet, comfortable surroundings with good food and ample opportunity to talk.

My past relationships have taught me...

Trust, though not easy, is essential. Honesty, thoughfulness, consideration cannot be overdone. Common goals and committments are so important. To see one putting another's needs above his/her own is telling.

To me, being an Adventist means...

Reflecting to others all the wonderful attributes our Savior showers onto us.

In five years, I see myself

I will retire next year. I hope to find a wonderful man to complement and enrich my life and to be able to do the same for him.

My favorite Bible passage is...

Oh, wow. Too many to write. Much of Psalms; all of the Gospels; many of Paul's books (except when he gets really confusing!) I love to dwell on Jesus' humanity and His assurances of constant help, understanding, support, companionship.

One final thing I'd like to mention...

I just hope for a good man, solid in his principles; a man of personal integrity who will hold me when I hurt and share my joy of living.
