To me, being an Adventist means...
It is a wonderful thing that we share the same common belief everywhere in the world. There are so many Churches that don't know what they believe and I am thankful that we are well educated to spread the Good News about our coming Lord. Now, we need to get out of the Laodicean mode. May we all be praying for the outpouring of the latter rain. I want to see Jesus coming in the clouds of glory from the top side of the ground. Who's with me?
In five years, I see myself
Would rather be in Heaven but if it hasn't happened, then to continue to spread the gospel and help people regain health. Taking care of those who are in need. And again, my desire is to be like Jesus, so that He isn't waiting on me to come and take us home.
My favorite Bible passage is...
Jer. 29:11-14 and Rev. 21:1-5 If the Lord has plans for me then they are plans to see me in the New Earth.
One final thing I'd like to mention...
Lived in California for about 7 months and Washington State for a few months and from then on, have always wanted to live in the mountains in a log cabin. The grandeur of the mountains and being in nature helps me to feel closer to Him. I long for "another time and another place where all my hopes and dreams will be captured with one look at Jesus face." (ok, so I borrowed that phase, :)) But its true!!!!!! If we never meet on this earth, plan on getting together in Heaven and the New Earth, so pen me in on your mind's "to do list" Hope to see you there.
