Something somewhat active as compared to watching a movie or being spectators. Maybe biking or hiking, hanging out with the animals at the zoo, going to a museum (although museums are a lot like libraries - shhh!), or even just chatting at a coffee shop. As long as there is great conversation, it is a great date. I would rather it be low-key and I get to know the person better than something fancy with the intent to wow.

Communication - I know, that sounds so cliche but I really think it's true. So many arguments or misunderstandings could be prevented if both sides would just talk it out.

Deal-breakers - I know a little better what is super important to me and what doesn't really matter.

Be open - just have fun and roll with it. Be yourself and don't over-analyze the relationship. It takes all the fun out of it.

Observing and relishing the Sabbath given to us, sharing Jesus with everyone, and believing in, and looking forward to, the soon coming of Jesus.

I have absolutely no idea. I am an ICU nurse (total adrenaline-junkie in that respect) and I'm currently working as a traveling nurse. I'm hoping to settle down somewhere in the next year or two so that I can be more involved in a church and community.

I'm quite happy and fulfilled being single, however, if the right man came along I certainly wouldn't be opposed to being married in the next five years. The little, old ladies in my home church would be so excited :)

I hope to be involved in mission work, whether in my community and/or overseas (short-term trips). I love mission trips and once you go on one, it is in your blood.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

I love the advice in these verses. You won't always feel happy but you can choose to be joyful even when things aren't going your way. Prayer shouldn't be just a once or twice a day thing -- it should be a constant conversation with God. Giving thanks in all situations...much easier said than done. But we have a lot to be thankful for and when we are thanking God, we are lifting our eyes upwards and away from ourselves. And that is always a good thing.
