Widow after 26 yrs. Friendship is first & foremost then God w/lead w/whom I should be with in a "relationship". NO casual "intimate" relationship so if that's what you want, I'm not it! I'm slowly rediscovering myself after many years caregiving for my sick husband so it's a new journey though some scary I'm slowly discovering exciting too.
I'm a lot of things. LOL I'm easy going, fun, spontaneous, love social gatherings small or large, been told "I don't know a stranger":) I enjoy quiet time w/that someone special but also by myself. Incl Prayer time together! I enjoy interesting conversation, have a very quick wit too:)
I enjoy people watching, sports espec Peyton Manning-Broncos & now Soccer too thanks to my mom watching the World Cup..LOL Enjoy nature, love ocean, beaches, boardwalks even some rides:) Mountains. Historical places, Architecture, bowling, dancing-used to be a very good dancer:) Love to cook espec bake. Flea Markets, Junk stores espec out of the way places and Antiques is fun. Enjoy a lovely day espec sunny and a Fall Foliage drive.
Great interest in Lighthouses, Covered Bridges, Old Churches, quaint towns would love to explore Coastal Lines too. Life in general fascinates me. So much to see & do!
My special love is my Grandson 1 yr 9 mths old now. My daughter & son-n-law; family-friends. Making new friends. Have lately enjoyed reconnecting w/old friends from home & schools. Just completed my "Past Bucket List" so great!!
I'm not 20, 30, 40 or even just 50 but under 60 so my choices and tastes now are very different. Hope some wiser! LOL!! I want to enjoy life again & if God has plans for me to include someone special to share it all w/me and also to things he enjoys then that's extra special. But I'm approaching this with friendship first, to enjoy life.

Pretty open but casual in a public place. I like to be surprised too...:)
It is vital that God be the First and Central part of the relationship and pray together in order to have a truly loving kind gentle respectful giving forgiving forever marriage. Must laugh at yourself and each other! Never leave or go to bed angry words or heart!! Remember thought together you are "one", you are still your own person(s) w/individual likes & dislikes and that's okay.
Everyone needs time alone, quiet time or even time to spend w/friend(s). However should also make an effort to take an interest in the other's hobbies/interests'; might find you enjoy it too but if not that's okay!! Never force it!
Always encourage, support and compliment...human nature for some reason probably Satan's doing; makes it easier to criticize but I don't agree..it's just as easy to compliment one another, sign of strength and confidence!
Can be "intimate" without sex, there are those special moments when just a hug, holding hands, special look even flirt w/the eyes and smile across a table or room makes the heart flutter & exciting. Thought sex is important to a marriage, Love is more than sex!
I've learned I will not have a relationship without someone who shares the same religious beliefs as myself. I'm not an "extremist" but I do have strong SDA beliefs and want to share w/that special someone, even just a friend. Enjoy welcoming in the Sabbath, attending church together, Sabbath Dinner w/each other or family/friends incl Church members. Enjoy sharing Bible together, sharing thoughts and questions. I enjoy volunteering too so someone who also does this or would like to thru the church or elsewhere is especially wonderful. I believe in Paying It Forward!!
I became re-baptized June 2014 in Hamburg, PA at my brother & family's SDA Church by the BMA Pastor. His 2 middle daughters, Amanda and Christina chose to get baptized w/me. What an honor to have my nieces give themselves to God w/me. My brother was in the Baptismal w/myself and the Pastor per my request. He was my Rock during my husband's illness and after his passing. He still is. So it was very important he helped baptize me. Then he did same w/his girls.
To our surprise when the pastor asked if anyone else would like to get baptized...my brother spoke up while still in the Baptismal and said he wanted to get re-baptized too. Naturally we all teared up! He has a very close relationship w/God...very strong in his beliefs and did have some hard challenges professionally little bit back due to medical issues, thankfully he's doing fine now but he had a hard time reconciling w/it all. He shared this beautiful touching testimony w/us all. He felt God, His Spirit welcoming him to get re-baptized. He did. How glorious! Beautiful Sabbath
