Even though I love doing active things, a first date needs to offer time for one-on-one communication. Dinner, a walk, somewhere there will not be too many distractions.

Be true to yourself and stand up for what you want out of life and your partner because honesty is the least hurtful.

Address/discover each other's foundation in life to make sure you are heading in the same direction.

. . . having the faith of Jesus Christ. Recognizing that we are far from perfect, yet allowing Him to work in us and create a clean heart, one that is a closer replication of His.

. . . looking forward to and preparing for the SOON second coming of Jesus. Believing in the prophesy, the three andgels' message, and taking the gospel to the whole world. Reaching out to the homeless, our neighbors, enemies, allies, and even those in places that seem impossible to reach.

. . . believing in the WHOLE Bible and its prophesies.

. . . believing that God used Ellen White to record visions, insight into the Bible and the life of Christ, and guidance for important last day events. Recognizing that the purpose of these books is to point people to Jesus, giving Him the glory that is rightly and only His.

In the next five years, I would love to find a stable, full-time, enjoyable nursing job, preferable in the operating room or surgical realm. Also, I would love to meet, become best friends, fall in love, and marry my life partner (all in God's timing, which I truly hope is very soon). I am so excited to start a family with my future husband because I believe the love amongst a family closely replicates God's love for us. What better way to be reminded of God's love when you wake up to it every day!

I have so many. . .

First, John 3:16 because that is the heart of the gospel and why Jesus died - because He loves me!

Second, II Peter 1:2-4 "Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us ALL THINGS that pertain to LIFE and GODLINESS, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us EXCEEDINGLY GREAT and PRECIOUS PROMISES, that though these you may be PARTAKERS of the DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." Talk about the best encouragement ever!

Another one is I Cor. 10:13 "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but GOD IS FAITHFUL, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make a way of escape, that you may be able to bear it." We all go through temptations and trials, but God is our strength and will give us what we need to get through it and be like Him!

I thoroughly enjoy mission work and would like to continue traveling and giving to those in need throughout my life. I year ago, I returned from a 9 month mission of working in one of our Adventist hospitals in Honduras. This experience has not only changed my life, but put a deeper desire in my heart to do it again. Also, music is a huge part of my life. I grew up singing for church (since I was four) and hope to never stop. I equally enjoy playing the piano and am currently learning to play the guitar. Music is one of my greatest ways of worshiping God.
