Introduction

I'm a person who is very outgoing and looks for positive things in life. I am recently widowed and would like to meet new people. I love to be with people who love to read and who love music. My pastor described me last night as a "church nerd" and yes I guess I am. When my husband was ill and in the hospital I read a great book by Sue Monk Kidd "When the Heart Waits: Spiritual Direction for Life's Sacred Questions" and it really helped me and challenged me. I like to be challenged. I am contemplating going back to school and have been praying about it and am thinking about being a theology major. I'd like to have a partner who would encourage me and support me in that decision.

Here is one of my favorite Bible verses. Read it and tell me what you think. Romans 8:25-26 Revised Standard Version. But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with sighs too deep for words.


I don't look at how people look or ethnicity. I look at people on the inside and what are their values, thoughts and desires. I look at everyone the same.

I love music especially classical and praise. In worship, music is very important to me. I love to sing and have sung in the church choir. I play the piano and from the age of 12-20 I was the church pianist. There was no one else in my church who played the piano, I attended a small Spanish speaking church. Now I play for me when I need to unwind.
