Something fun, something that doesn't involve a television or a big screen. Something like a hike, or a picnic, or an afternoon of four-wheeling. Something that requires our interaction, not just a close physical proximity.

Communication is everything! Couples need to communicate if they want to survive. And I don't mean talking about one's day. The communication I'm talking about is the stuff that guys may just not understand, or that girls may just not understand. No, they're not being lippy or trying to be difficult. They honestly just don't get it. This kind of communication takes patience and paying attention, but I think it's the most valuable kind. Tell your partner how you're feeling. Even though it may seem obvious to you, it may not be so obvious to them.

Being an Adventist means walking closely with God and following Him even when it seems silly in the eyes of the world. Being an Adventist means making God an integral part of your life, and an integral part of every day.

God alone knows what I will be doing in the next five years. As a teacher in the Adventist system, I go where-ever God tells me to. However, He knows that I would like to settle down, and stay in one place for a while.

Job 13:15 which reads "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him." This to me is the highest declaration of loyalty in the Bible, and one that I want to be able to say from my heart. Of course, I know that God wouldn't "kill" me, but if He needs me to die for a part of the master plan that I can't see or understand, I want to be able to say "yes" with all of my heart.

I am enjoying living a rather conservative lifestyle. I don't wear jewelry, I enjoy a vegan/vegetarian diet, and I rarely watch TV. Today's entertainment frustrates me because it is so full of half truths and un-truths, as well as much of it being pure blasphemy, so I generally do not watch many movies. I want an "of the earth" lifestyle. I would love to grow a garden, I already can fruit in the fall, and I like to go camping in God's nature.
