Ok going to be totoally honest...never been in a long term relationship except in grade school, which doesn't seem to count. I have always learned the wrong relationship to have through my friends and family. They have made so many mistakes. I have always saved myself for the man God wants me to be with. I want to only date someone with the same goals and beliefs and even some Adventist men I have met have left me discouraged and believing it would never happen. I want a relationship that God wants me to have. Waiting for this has left me discouraged and lonely and wondering if it would ever happen.

First being an Adventist to me is everyday trying to have a closer relationship with Christ making it more then rules and an out of ordinary lifestyle others can not understand. By having a close walk with Him I feel being and Adventist is also about not only telling people about the message but also being like Jesus and showing kindness and being nonjudgmental in a world void of these as well as other Christian morals. It's more than a strange diet, Sabbath, or lack of body adornment.... It is a love of God and others.

Bring someone to Jesus.

Jeremiah 29:11-"For I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord, Plans to prosper you and not you harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
That verse gives me hope and peace. I don't have to worry or contemplate huge decisions. God's got me. He's leading me why worry? It reminds me I'm not alone. I am saved and my life is planned and lead by Him. I just have to follow and trust. I think of this verse every time I'm down and lonely and am comforted that all of this is His plan and He is with me.
