What I'd like to do on a first date...

A nature walk, church function, medical conference or perhaps camp meeting?

My past relationships have taught me...

Patience, forgiveness, above all unconditional love. A picture or words does not define a person, your behavior and history does. I was married once I do not date randomly. I check references & I expect the same.

To me, being an Adventist means...

Adventist believe in the proclamation of the Tree Angels message (Revelation 14: 6-13) it means sharing this message as probation closes. The 10 commandments includes the honoring of the weekly 7th day-Sabbath. It's a test of my loyalty to my Creator, Redeemer & Savior. The writings of Ellen G. White expounds the Bible in a powerful wonderful way. God's cornerstone of His government is: Grace, Justice & Love. But, if i have and do all these and have no love--I have nothing. I've been active in the same church for more than 20 years.

In five years, I see myself

Continue to serve, work for my immediate community, perhaps with the love of my life. I long for a deeper understanding of God's Holiness, His mind, His plans, and will in my life. Eventually I will move to the country and become more self sufficient. Attend another graduation-my son's higher education in the medical field (i believe in education-more people can be helped using young minds at its peak). The possibilities are endless when we strive & leave all at the feet of Jesus and let the Holy Spirit lead.

My favorite Bible passage is...

"Do unto others what you would have done unto you". "Traten a los demás tal y como quieren que ellos los traten a ustedes". Lucas/Luke 6:31 NVI, Matthew 7:12. The golden rule for successful relationships.

One final thing I'd like to mention...

When I make first the kingdom of Heaven, the rest is provided by my Father in Heaven. Can we walk together the footsteps of Christ? Sorry, I will not be able to respond every friendship request due to time constraints. Peace to you & yours.
Ps. I have returned from my overseas trip to Peru (my favorite) with many more stories to tell/write. We have a Father so protective and so kind. He always amazes me.
Last Sabbath hiking: I saw birds building nests, majestic mountains and trees, pine cones of all sizes, rocks, and me. My walk in paradise (nature) ended w a view of a half eaten hiking boot. Reality Check: Be Sober and Awake. A reminder we are still on earth: Revelations 12:12, and 1 Peter 5:8.
