Going out to eat, hiking/walking together, talking, watching a funny movie together afterwards perhaps - typical simple, fun date to get to know each other. Hiking in the mountains or beach; going to a concert; whatever activities would interest us both.

That open, honest communication and respect are important and necessary. Similar values and beliefs are very important!

Knowing Jesus on a personal, intimate level and trusting in what He has for my life in all areas. Waiting for His coming and growing closer to Him so my life reflects Christ through my actions/interactions with others.

Continue teaching. Growing personally and spiritually. Hope to find/meet my soulmate/best friend, get acquainted and grow in a permanent relationship.

I like the book of Psalms because of the range of experiences David had and describes so well in his verse/poetry in so many chapters.

Seek someone who believes that a relationship begins first with being friends and really learning about each other. Pushiness is a turnoff, but someone who is assertive when needed and as appropriate is good.
