I am a kind, considerate, friendly person who likes to be around people. I love to laugh and I smile easily. I have always taken good care of myself, and my health is excellent. I have been called a shy extrovert, but am a little shy only until I have gotten to know a person. I have a firm faith in God and a positive outlook on life. Friends have told me I have a calming influence on them, and that it feels comfortable to be around me. Some of the activities I enjoy are traveling, playing the piano, walking my black lab, doing gentle yoga at the gym, painting, cooking, quilting, shopping and eating out with friends. Being involved in my church is important and enjoyable to me. God is so good, and I want to serve Him. What I'd like to do on a first date...
Go out to eat, take a walk in the park or on the beach while getting to know each other.
My past relationships have taught me...
Communication is very important, and so is thoughtfulness of each other. Be considerate and treat each other as you personally want to be treated. Show affection often, and be a soft place to land for the other person. Honesty and trustworthiness are a must. It's important to be good friends first, who enjoy spending time together, and then let romance and possibly marriage come after that.
To me, being an Adventist means...
Loving the Lord with all my heart, and wanting to share the "good news" with others, for Jesus is coming soon. I believe and love the Seventh-day Adventist message, and I truly enjoy attending church each Sabbath for worship and being involved in the various activities.
In five years, I see myself
I want to bring someone to Christ. I have given two Bible studies and may do more. I plan to continue painting and quilting, and if it is God's will, to marry and share my life and love with a good man.
My favorite Bible passage is...
Psalm 91. It is full of reassurance, telling us that God is our protection, our refuge and fortress and we can trust in Him.
One final thing I'd like to mention...
I like holding hands, feeling a strong arm around me, and cuddling with that special someone. I am a romantic at heart and am looking for someone who will make me feel complete.
