I would like to meet at a coffee shop or some other mutually agreeable location where we can just sit and talk and start to truly get to know each other.

Past relationships have taught me that I'm still old-fashioned enough to want to open doors for a woman, treat her like a lady and to prefer a mutual partnership to dominating or being dominated. Past relationships have also taught me that I am passionate, monogamous and that I still enjoy seeing the smile that just a simple, thoughtful act to of love can bring to the face of a good woman.

If you are still married or otherwise seriously attached to somebody, please move on. I’m not the kind of man who can accept physical/mental/emotional threesomes. It’s also against my religion to do so.

People grow and evolve, and so my ex-wife and I chose to part ways. As far as drinking is concerned, I don't. I think that smoking is bad for your health, too, so I never smoke. Smoking is a “deal-breaker” with me after having helplessly watched my father die from lung cancer. As for children, I do not have any and, although I love them and could accept yours, at my age I don’t desire to have any. I've heard it can be an amazing experience, though.

I like to think of myself as an optimistic individual. If life gives me lemons, I try to make lemonade. I'm a humorous person, so let me tell you, laughing is good for the heart and the mind! I like to take important things seriously; I think it's a great attitude toward life. People say I'm charming, but I think it's just a question of being sensitive to those around me. I'm a fun-loving guy with a ready wit and a dry, subtle sense of humor. I hope that you're a fun-loving woman! I am also a very responsible man. I think that taking care of myself and those whom I love is key. However, that doesn't mean that I’m a “meal ticket” or a “sugar daddy.” The woman that I both want and need is sexy, good-looking, very seriously in love with God The Father and Jesus and also self sufficient. This way I know that, if she is interested in me – its because of me and not because she has some materialistic ulterior motive.

I've never lacked confidence, I guess that's one of the things that has contributed to my success in life. In addition, if being a hopeless romantic is a crime, then I'm guilty as charged. I think romance is a form of art! I think that we really should try a few good, long chats together some time! Then maybe later, after we both feel more comfortable with each other over email and the phone and have exchanged more photos, I think a great date would be a beautiful candlelight dinner with great food and great conversation.
