I am a serious christian. I belong to my church. I'm not out in the world much outside of working out at the gym. I do my own missionary work as the Lord leads me which is quite often. I believe I can serve God best if I am constantly aware of my "temple" and the company I keep. I enjoy someone who can make me laugh...I've been told I should've been born blonde,as I never catch a joke, but I'm not. I am described as quirky, eccentric, and generously helpful. Some would refer to that as being a fixer:) I love children, the elderly & animals (although I am highly allergic to cats!). I am somewhat old fashioned. The type of man I would be interested in, is someone who is low maintenance such as myself, respectful, knows to get the door every single time, non-judgemental, and smiles alot. Most importantly is his level of faith in God. I'm new to this site and I'm not sure how long I'll stay on. I'd like for you to know that I am a TBI survivor...pretty blessed about that. I can be a bit forgetful but I never give up pressing towards the mark.I am pretty mellow and I'd like to meet somone who is sincerely nice. I seldom become heated over most topics and, I SIMPLY WILL NOT ARGUE...don't mind discussions...passive-aggression is the other thing I'd rather not deal with. A type personalities would probably find me a bit of a challenge. Btw, my pic is about 2weeks old at this time - mid January, 2013. Please, post a current picture. I'm sure we all want to know who it is we're talking to! Have a blessed day!

What I would like to do on a first date is ???? dinner and a movie maybe, or just hang out at the park, weather permitting and have a good chat. I am totally uncomfortable in an environment that serves alcohol. But, there's always something going on socially and at church. I'm not much at sp
I've learned a lot from my past relationships and observing those around me. It seems that while the first three months can be a blast, it is difficult for people to carry on deception past that point. It's important to me that people approve of themselves and can be accepting of others...because I like myself. I'm not interested in being something I'm not. And I have no interest in changing anyone else...my main concern is that I in no way want to cause someone to take their eyes off of the cross and onto me...I'm just human and I will cause you to fall every time. I have to keep my eyes focused on Jesus as I prepare for what I believe is His soon coming!
As an Adventist, it is important for me to actively study God's word. Keeping the Sabbath although it interferes with the plans of others - I try never to deviate from that. I believe in the health message and I am convinced that God has a plan for my life. I live in constant communion so as not to commit an act that is against his will.
What I will be doing depends on how the Lord leads me. But I will still be pressing toward the mark. It would be awesome to have a committed partner to pray in agreement with. Wow...talk about a POWERHOUSE effect!
Wow. This is hard because I have a few. But, the one that moves me is John 11:35, Jesus wept. When I realize how many times he's wept because I have failed, it's over-whelming. I want to hold Him and love Him and tell Him how sorry I am.
I've always hoped to meet a man that was aware of his position in the family of God...not the one with the caveman view, but the one who believes in a forever love together with Christ in the middle. I don't think I've ever really experienced that.
