I'm a very old-fashioned respectful Christian brother who believes that Jesus should be the center of ones every endeavor. I'm real and down to earth. No I'm not new to the ways of the world, been there done that. My past, has past "thank you Jesus" and now I only refer to it to promote the power of Jesus. I have a very strong passion for Ministry. I recently completed my Masters of Arts in Pastoral Studies at Oakwood University (Praise Jesus). Respectfully I say it's easy to find a woman yet hard to find a Lady, especially one that's lost in the love of Jesus. It is my desire, to secure a mate who's love for Christ will compliment my love for Him. A help meet who is supportive, humble and uncorrupted by the lure of power and money. A Lady who whom I can spoil, yet understands that it's better to be rich in the love of Christ, than lavished in the mansion's of selfishness. a woman who values wisdom over pride and material things... Is there such a woman??

What I'd like to do on a first date...

I often prefer group outings over one on one dating in the beginning. This allows me to really see my date in her rawest state. Most mature individuals have mastered the art of dating one on one or better said; they've master behavior modification. It is only natural for a person to exhibit there best before a potential mate, so... though the first impression may be the lasting one, it is rarely accurate and sadly enough, often misleading. A setting involving 2 of her friends and two of mine will shift the focus drastically an allow all parties involved to act as close to themselves as publicly possible. Often a friends presents not only brings comfort and support but it will also hold the Christian to the standard of truth. Such an open first date may seem unusual to most, yet it provides the most revealing details and sets one up for the most awesome second date you will ever experience. How?? It arms you with information giving you more leverage for spontaneous and creative energy.

My past relationships have taught me...

The past has taught me to embrace Gods wisdom.., In the Beginning God Created... "ONE". Then He “being God", put that "ONE" to sleep and from that ONE, Created He another …ONE. Though the both together physically equaled TWO, God pronounce them both, together physically, ONE. Not "LIKE ONE" or "AS ONE" but ONE. Now I’m not a mathematician but for as long as I can remember one and one has always equaled two. They are separate, individual and noticeably distinct. And true enough when referring to tangibles such as objects, cattle or just plain stuff on a carnal level, this equation is true. Yet in light of marriage or relationships leading to marriage, an institute created, sanctioned and governed by God, this simple equation is transformed and exalted above mere mathematics. In light of Gods word, we now understand that a couple who’s ultimate goal is marriage, must submit themselves to God’s prophecy of oneness. A merging spirit of oneness can only be achieved by each individual within the relationship completely surrendering to God allowing or inviting the indwelling of the Holy spirit who merges the two into ONE. Oneness can only be achieved though selflessness and this attribute is not found in any man or woman. It exists only in God, yet can be given as a gift of the Spirit and is labeled the greatest gift of all…….that’s right…the gift of Love. In short I’ve learned to seek the gift of Love from the Holy Spirit , and will encourage my potential mate to do the same so that we can receive the gift of oneness from the Spirit of God.

To me, being an Adventist means...

Understanding that it takes Love to activate Faith
Understanding that true Love produces action
Serving because "I'm loved unconditionally by my Savior and motivated by His love to do the same.
Understanding that to truly love is to trust and real trust requires no evidence or proof.
understanding that the power to change is not in me but in Jesus who wants to live in me.

In five years, I see myself

Marry the woman God sends me
Sharing The Good news of Jesus!!
complete the book God has encouraged me to write.

My favorite Bible passage is...

And it came to pass when they were come that he looked on Eliab, and said Surely the Lord's anointed is before Him.

But the Lord said unto Samuel, look not on his countenance, or the height of his stature: because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth: for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the lord looketh on the heart.

1 Samuel 16:6,7

Why: It reminds me that I should... we should... leave the judging to God and that we should love a lot more and judge a lot less.

One final thing I'd like to mention...

My sister, It is my prayer that you understand that you cant separate Faith and Love, they are one machine. Please meditate on this reality, Just a few minutes, It will release you from so much and empower you In Jesus. The Spirit willing, you will get a break through on this reality and that such a breakthrough will change your life forever.

"Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for allowing my sister to meditate on this simple truth. In the name of Jesus I stand in the gap, asking that you give her a blessing and a break though, in Jesus name I pray, Amen" Thank you Jesus!!!
