I don't place that much emphasis on a first "date" and it may not even happen if virtual :). But, in terms of spending time with someone and getting to know them, I think great discussions and time in nature is great.

That they must be based on God. "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" - 2 Corinthians 6:14

I am always aware of God's goodness and blessings in my life and never cease to be humbled and amazed at His care of me. I love God and I find comfort and wisdom in His word and in prayer. I am in awe of the beauty of church communities, friendships, and marriages founded on God, and the selflessness that comes from it. Being an Adventist particularly, means answering a calling, surrendering all to Christ, and living in His Spirit. "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” - John 13:34-35

I would like to meet, grow with, and marry someone that can be my best friend, lover, spiritual companion and a good and wise father. I want to have a full and joyful home :) I would like to develop my career and use it in a way that is meaningful and fulfilling. I have a passion for human rights and social justice and would like my career in law to conform to the verse in Isaiah 1:17: Learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow.

My current greatest aspiration!

I am looking first and foremost for a person that seeks God with all of his heart, soul, mind, and strength, so that we can grow together spiritually and found our love and unity on that. My idea of an ideal relationship is one where each person puts the other before him/herself. I am looking for someone that I can respect and be drawn to, and connect with spiritually. A thinker. Romantic and affectionate. Someone interesting and interested in the world and people around us. I am looking for a man that is strong and independent but can also appreciate and understand the heart of a woman; a man that longs to love his wife as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25) but at the same time doesn't undermine her strength. Essentially, I want to seek God's guidance because our minds and understanding are often so limited, “There are three things that are too amazing for me, four that I do not understand: the way of an eagle in the sky, the way of a snake on a rock, the way of a ship on the high seas, and the way of a man with a young woman." Proberbs 30: 18-19.
