California born, raised in Tennessee, I've also lived in Michigan and South Carolina.
I'm a somewhat eclectic mix of the technical and the creative. Engineering, theater, mechanics, music, and more are all bouncing around my brain at any given time. If nothing else, it makes for an interesting and often entertaining time. I'm easy-going and enjoy just hanging out as well as occasionally going out on the town.
I also enjoy traveling. I've been all over the lower 48, to Canada, the Bahamas, Honduras, and the Philippines twice. Much of my US travel has been while on tour, as an actor, with a stage adaptation of C.S. Lewis' classic "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." In 2009 we did 43 shows and passed through 37 states in a 3 month span. It is one of my best experiences to date.
Since I moved back to Nashville in 2010 I've been volunteering with a group called People Loving Nashville. Every Monday afternoon/evening we share food, clothing, and community with those experiencing homelessness in downtown Nashville. I never expected to do something like this on a long-term basis, but it's become one of my favorite things. Even if you're not attracted to me at all, you should check it out. Just Google it.
I'm looking for someone who can appreciate my sarcastic/ironic sense of humor and who likes me as much as I like her. Someone willing and able to have fun together whether it be with friends and family, just joking around, playing sports, playing music/singing, cooking, or whatever else comes along.

Something active and fun that allows for meaningful interaction but naturally fills in the inevitable lulls in the conversation.
Fear can ruin relationships, even before they have a chance to begin. There's a reason we should rely on God for our happiness.
Jesus is Lord. Every doctrine should be rooted in that or discarded. Each of them is only important if they help me understand who He is, what He did, and what He will do.
Be open to God's leading in my life. Hopefully that will include making a positive impact with the youth of my church...since I'm currently working with them.
Daniel 3:17,18 because I love how the statement radiates trust in and loyalty to God, regardless of how He chooses to act.
"If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."
1 & 1...chocolate chips are good to add as well.
(This would've actually been funny if the heading for this essay was the same in the display phase as it is in the edit phase. Silly web developers.)
