On a first date? A great question. I would enjoy spending time with the right individual in casual conversation. I believe that it is important to be able to converse. I'm talking about conversation in which both individuals have equal opportunity to share information about themselves and both individuals are open to listening. I love nature, so adding some outdoors activity to the conversation is priceless.

Past relationships have taught me that God is so wonderful. I have taken my past relationships as a learning and growth experience. I understand that no relationship is perfect, because there is no perfection at our present state. I do look forward to one day having a meaningful and lasting relationship. I know that the right guy for me is out there, just waiting to see where God leads me.

When I think about Adventism, I think of the Sabbath and Temperance. I love the peace that the Sabbath brings. I truly understand this because there was a time when I stepped away from the lessons that I was taught in my youth. I felt so homesick when I was away and am so happy to be able to share in the delight of the Sabbath again. I believe in the temperance philosophy and health message of the Adventist.

In the next five years, I plan on completing a couple of degrees, kick starting my own business, learning to play an instrument, running a half marathon (maybe walking it, but really fast) and participating in an archaeological dig.

Psalm 91 - He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Surely He will deliver me from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence... This chapter gives me peace, knowing that no matter what obstacle I encounter, God is there to carry me. He will never leave me. He will always be my Protector, Healer, Comforter and His love and the compassion that gives to me will never ever fail.
