Someone once said that simplicity is the essence of beauty. I enjoy even simple places that give one an opportunity to get to know a person better, a quiet dinner, a walk in the park, anywhere there is an environment that is calm and relaxing for conversation.

One thing I have learned is that in a relationship it is helpful if the two people have the same faith and beliefs and if both share a love and respect for God and for those around us... As I look forward to eventually having children I would like them to be raised with God at the center of their lives so I'm looking for a partner that shares this thought... someone that wants to make the best of our time here while yearning to grow more in the way of Jesus and looking forward to everlasting life with God.

God bestows an abundant supply of blessings on us daily and everyday we have reason to be thankful and grateful. Having God in our lives doesn't mean that things are always easy but the challenging times do help us to grow in our faith and I feel we should be thankful even for the challenging times. (James 1:2-3)

The Sabbath gives us an opportunity to be reminded of our Creator and it is wonderful to go out in nature and see the power and love God has for us. It reminds me of one of my favorite hymns "How Great Thou Art".

I am thinking that in five years I would already be on the way to starting a family and perhaps building a house close to nature somewhere by a stream and a meadow. But more importantly in five years I would like to be where God wants me to be, His plans are perfect and He will discover them to us in His time.
