Hi fellas, many of you have sent me letters, my apologies for not answering, I haven't been on this site for 6 months; hang in there, I'll be back soon!

I've been an intensely adventurous person in my life, which set me up for more than a few surprises ... Eventually met up with my good friend wisdom along the way. Am the first Adventist in our family. Friends have told me I'm unpretentious. Love libraries, home-life, organic gardening, grandchildren, motorcycles, mt. climbing, flying, caves. Appreciate a man who has a big heart for God & humanity, a courageous, rugged, intellectual gentleman. I am constantly on the go! Can't do without humor & some mischievous fun in life. Appreciate regularity & spontaneity. Have had a powerful conversion experience; love sharing my faith, caring for people, listening to their heart stories. I'm a bit intellectual, yet crave the practical, real side of life, like trekking thru forests & mts. Life is pretty fulfilling, yet, I've considered what it would be like to have a real friend in you, a real companion. We could try.... ; )

To me, being an Adventist means...
It is a privilege to be called to follow God, more so, a supreme entrustment to be called a "Seventh Day Adventist Christian." I feel I haven't much time really, to daydream ... it's 30 seconds before mid-nite. The redeemed have longed to be a part of this moment in earth's history, what a privilege to be co-workers with the Master, being called to glorify God by our dependence on Him in the midst of subtle and blatant sin. It takes my breath away & it's what I live for & my greatest love, serving the One who searched me out & saved me & my family, showing us an infinitely better way of life in every aspect; physically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally healthier. Don't want to know what life would have been like without my best friend ...
In five years, I see myself
When I was 16, I mapped out my life. Graduate, travel America on a motorcycle with a boyfriend, go to college & on to Peace Corps, go to Europe, come home, marry, have 1 child of my own & adopt 1. Basically, only one of those things happened, (Europe), either for lack of planning or things out of my control. So I sometimes wonder about planning. Just a thought, but I'm not disappointed. Perhaps I could dream about working side by side with you, being settled on a horse ranch where disadvantaged children can come spend some healing time!? or working in a lifestyle center, helping people get well, or writing a book or laying on a beach in Costa Rica, all, only if I still have to be here on this crazy planet!
My favorite Bible passage is...
Romans 8:38. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
One final thing I'd like to mention...
I'm ready to get real, jump outside my box, not necessarily by being crazy, more by letting go of concepts & fears that may need some surgery. Anyone brave enough to join me? I love the quiet side of life, preferring as little contact with commotion of cities as possible... I love gardening & grandkids I'm HIGHLY interested in health, but don't overdo it ... I enjoy eating too much! I once homesteaded a 140 acres in Alaska.
