As long is it doesn't involve risk of serious bodily injury, and it is neither illegal or immoral, I'm open to trying it. But first dates are too nerve-wracking. I say skip the first date and go on the second date.

Actually, when two people bring a full heart, a selfless spirit, and an ability to invest emotionally, relationships can be a lot of fun.

Two people must have shared values, shared goals, and shared interests (in that order) for a relationship to be successful.

And, as we say we know and act like we don't - you can not change another person to make them what you want them to be.

Adventism goes beyond merely having a correct theology. It means having Jesus front and center of my life, and making choices regarding everything I say, do, etc. It also means that I likely already know someone who knows you and can easily check your references ! :-)

I absolutely believe that friendship provides a great base for a lasting marriage. However, a year from now I would like to be married or planning a wedding. I'm not looking for a whole bunch of activity partners or chat buddies or texting buddies.

I am open to relocation, but that doesn't necessarily mean that I have to be the one to move.
