Hello, thanks for visiting my profile. I am friendly, feminine...maybe a little bit tomboyish at times. I admire a man who is "handy", can build a house or do auto repair, likes camping, etc. Someone not "too" macho, is kind hearted and honest. You don't have to be handsome or in perfect shape, though those attributes are nice, of course. If we limit ourselves to the "ideal", we may miss out on great love. It would be wonderful if we had music and art in common. I lived in Alaska for over 20 years and have land there with a spectacular view of Denali (Mt. McKinely)...no cabin on it yet! (hint, hint) I would love to go back someday, even if only for periodic visits. Laura

Something low-pressure at first, light dinner or lunch. I love to try new-to-me restaurants, especially ethnic foods.
To maintain a sense of humor, compromise. I don't always have to be right.
I have not attended regularly in the last few years, though have begun to wander back more often. My basic belief in the Creator (and all that means to us as Adventists in the "last days") is still strong. I feel it is a privilege to be a player on this "stage of the universe" and am honored to have a part in the final climactic resolution of the story of how good triumphs over evil..the greatest story ever told! In my younger years, I had some encounters with demon harrassment, and am glad to say that with much prayer, I am no longer afraid to live alone, no longer controlled by the power of a being that knows how to manipulate. It has "left the building"..lol. That experience did as much for strengthening my belief in guardian angels, in a God who cares for us as individuals.
Find a place to settle, maybe buy a house, travel to Ireland/Scotland/England, Hawaii, Australia and New Zealand. My daughter, age 38, has muscular dystrophy, and lives in Florida. She is very intelligent, funny, doesn't complain about her lot in life. She always takes pride in her appearance and has great taste in everything. She is going back to school for a degree, which is quite admirable for someone with her condition in her late 30's. I hope to grow up to be like my daughter! ;-)
"Let not the sun go down on your anger", and "A soft answer turneth away wrath" (Easier said than done, but I do try!)
If you just want a new friend, please say hello! Laura
